Welcome to LaNIverse!
Where satire of Super Earth meets autism-induced levels of worldbuilding
and (lowkey unhinged) power fantasy.
Here every event and world's aspect has been researched, debated, and re-imagined by people driven by the goal to make Helldivers universe balance between Rule of Cool, realism, and several flavors of our favorite power fantasy.
LaNIverse is a product of collaborative effort, created primarily as simple explanation routine for different aspects in several stories, surrounding original characters, inspired by official Helldivers lore or purely Helldivers 2 gameplay. Over time this routine has become more detailed, cohesive and meticulously tended to project, which gave actual birth to the Alternative Universe it is today.
Stripping away major part of the game's surface level satire, we took many under- or non-explained aspects of official lore, and did our best to make them sound logical and more “serious”, so to say. Our version of the lore doesn't just tells what happened. It also tells how it happened and why - for most of it, at least - starting from something lowkey expected, like chemistry and physiology behind battle stimulants, and ending with some completely unhinged projects like creating enemy units classifications or reimagining the whole Helldiver Contract of Employment.
The best thing about this project? It's not a static archive, it's a living, breathing thing, constantly in development, both in terms of storytelling - because the game's storyline isn't yet finished - and in terms of actual in-universe development. We're constantly adding new stuff, ranging from equipment to whole damn installations and even planets (sometimes). We also often consider implementing other people ideas (so maybe leave some on the page's bottom👀)
Anyway, before you dive in, please remeber: This is a fan-created re-imagining. An alternative universe. If you cherish official Helldivers lore as it stands, some of our creative choices and additions mught be fairly jarring to you. With all due respect to original material we cherish - our goal is to explore different flavor of the same universe.
So – again – before you'll delve into this fantastic universe we've built, mind this:

PLEASE
Be mindful that this is a work in progress - especially the wiki itself - and there's not a lot of people or free time to work on it right now, sadly.
If you have a request for a certain page that hasn't been made yet - you can leave it in "Setting overview" page's comment section.
Honestly, if you have access to this website at this time, you're probably accquainted with at least one of the authors. So, if you can't find what you're looking for here, you can just ask us directly.
